It is God’s Will to reveal His Ways to us through Jesus (The Living Word) by the Holy Spirit.
Colossians 2: 2 – 3 [For my concern is] that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged) as they are knit together in love, that they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One). (3)In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden. (Amplified Classic)
It is God’s Will to reveal His Ways to us through Jesus (The Living Word) by the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is a copy of the Living Word of God. It reveals the very nature and character of God Himself, Who He Is and His Ways.
The Bible reveals who we are and what our ways should be.
The Bible also reveals who Satan is and his ways.
It is absolutely vital that we know the Ways of the Lord. All of God’s Ways are revealed in Jesus Christ. As we study God’s Living Word, and walk in Love, God’s Ways are revealed to us by the Holy Spirit.
God’s Ways are hidden in Christ Jesus but revealed to God’s children by the Holy Spirit as we set our love upon God and walk the love walk. It is the will of God and His deep desire to reveal Himself to His People.
We must learn how to love God so that we can love others and be more effective in the kingdom of God.
If God’s agape love is not working in our life, then the Kingdom of God will be limited in its ability to produce or manifest in our life.
Two of the greatest forces in life that effect everyone one of us are Love and selfishness. These two forces are involved in everything we do. They are involved in every decision that we make.
Everything we do and every decision that we make are related to one or the other of these two forces, Love or selfishness. One or the other is always present, but they cannot work together.
Mankind is born with a selfish nature. Selfishness is the reciprocal of love.
Agape love is not a human form of love. It is unconditional, limitless, selfless, and is not based on emotions. It tolerates anything. It is always others centered.
Hebrews 2: 14 – 15 (Amplified Classic) Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death–that is, the devil– (15) And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives.
Hebrews 4: 15 – 16 (NKJV) For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. (16) Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Jesus was also tempted with selfishness. Jesus used the Word to defeat selfishness. He anchored His choice in the Word. We should do the same.
There are two laws govern life, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which is Love, and the law of sin and death, which is selfishness – the foundation of all sin.
Romans 8: 1 – 2 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (NKJV)
Romans 8: 5 – 6 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. (6) For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (NKJV)
In the way that God is Love, Satan is Fear and selfishness.
When selfishness is the foundation of your life, what you were once protected from when you walked in love, can then happen to you.
1st John 5: 18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. (NKJV)
We must choose to live in the Law of Life in Christ Jesus. If we do not choose The Law of Life in Christ Jesus, then the Law of Sin and Death is in operation. One or the other.
Deuteronomy 30: 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, thatI have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; (NKJV)
John 1: 14 – 16 And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. (15) John testified about Him and cried out, This was He of Whom I said, He Who comes after me has priority over me, for He was before me. [He takes rank above me, for He existed before I did. He has advanced before me, because He is my Chief.] (16) For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift. (Amplified Classic)
Colossians 1: 15 – 20 [Now] He is the exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; He is the Firstborn of all creation. (16) For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. (17) And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together). (18) He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent]. (19) For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him permanently. (20) And God purposed that through (by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross. (Amplified Classic)
