A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart or who is Spiritually minded will be a person who is walking in God’s Mercy and Loving-Kindness.

As believers, it is essential that we know and understand God’s Love and Mercy. That we develop trust in His Love and Mercy.

This is the message that He so deeply desires for the world to know. It is our message to a dark and hurting world.

If we are to have faith and confidence in God, we must trust in His mercy.

We must Develop Faith in the Mercy of God. God is faithful to His mercy.

Deuteronomy 7: 9 Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; (NKJV)

The entire Word of God emphasizes God’s Love, Mercy, Compassion, and Goodness. We can trust in His Mercy. His Mercy endures forever.

Psalm 145: 8 – 9 The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness. (9) The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created]. (Amp. C)

Psalm 86: 15  But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth. (NKJV)

Psalm 25: 10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and steadfast love, even truth and faithfulness are they for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. (Amp. C)

Psalm 32: 10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on the Lord shall be compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness. (Amp. C)

Even pre-cross God shows us His deep desire to pour out the abundance of His Mercy.

When God was instructing Moses on how to build the Sanctuary, God did not put a seat of Judgment on top of the ark, but He put a seat of Mercy.

Exodus 25: 21 – 22 You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you. (22) And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel. (NKJV)

“All of the Ways of the Lord are Love”

Download This Message -> 230915 Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 12 – All of the Ways of the Lord are Love

GOD IS LOVE! WHEN YOU KNOW GOD, YOU KNOW LOVE HIMSELF THE PERSON.

LOVE IS NOT ONLY AN ACTION WORD REQUIRING ACTION BUT IT IS A PERSON.

ALL GENUINE LOVE IN ACTION FLOWS FROM THE PERSON LOVE GOD HIMSELF.

1st John 4: 7 – 8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him]. (8) He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. (Amp. C)

When we know God IS LOVE we know His ways. To Know His Ways is to Love Him.

All of God’s Ways are Love.

Matthew 22: 35 – 40 And one of their number, a lawyer, asked Him a question to test Him. (36) Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light–which are heavy?] (37) And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). (38) This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. (39) And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. (40) These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets. (Amp. C)

Romans 13: 8 – 10 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. (9) For the commandments, “YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY,” “YOU SHALL NOT MURDER,” “YOU SHALL NOT STEAL,” “YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS,” “YOU SHALL NOT COVET,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” (10) Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (NKJV)

A person walking in the Ways of the Lord will be a person guided by the Holy Spirit.

This person being guided by the Holy Spirit will be a person who habitually exercises and develops the Fruit of the Spirit.

All of the Fruit of the Spirit flows from and are founded in Love.

Galatians 5: 22 – 23   But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, (23) Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].  (Amp. C)

Because of the presence of the Holy Spirit within every Born-Again person they already have the ability to walk in the Ways of the Lord present within them. Even though the Fruit of the Spirit is already present in the Born-Again person that fruit must be developed.

The Holy Spirit will always guide this person in the way of Love, The Love Walk.

1st Corinthians 13: 4 – 8a (Amplified Classic)

A person walking in the ways of the Lord:

Will Endure Long

Will Be Patient and Kind

Will not be envious or boil over with jealousy.

Will not be boastful or vain glorious.

Will not display themselves haughtily.

Will not be conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride

Will not be rude (unmannerly) and will not act unbecomingly.

Will not insist on their own rights or their own way for it is not self-seeking.

Will not be touchy or fretful or resentful.

Will not take account of the evil done to them [they pay no attention to a suffered wrong

Will not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth

prevail.

Will bear up under anything and everything that comes.

Will be ever ready to believe the best of every person.

Their hopes are fadeless under all circumstances.

They endure everything without weakening.

Their Love will never fail, never fade out, or becomes obsolete, or comes to an end.

Download This Message -> 230908 Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 11 – Love – That Four Letter Word

Love describes all that God IS. His very nature and all of His ways. All of God’s Ways are Love.

Love is the root, foundation, and entire reason for all that God has done, is doing, and ever will do.

Love covers all of time and eternity.

Love is the reason for all of creation that is in time and eternity.

Love is the reason that Jesus was sent.

Not only was it the Fathers Love that sent Jesus, but it was also Jesus’ own Love that sent Him. For they are One

John 10:30 I and the My Father are One. (NKJV)

Not only are God The Father, God The Son Jesus, and God The Holy Spirit absolutely One but God’s deep desire is that we are one. Not only one with each other but also One with God The Father, God The Son Jesus, and God The Holy Spirit.

John 17: 21  That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. (Amp. C)

Love is the reason for His entire life, death, burial, descent into Hell, and His resurrection from the Dead.

Love is the reason that He ascended into Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God The Father making intercession for us.

Love is the reason for the coming of the Holy Spirit and His abiding in us.

Love is the reason for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. He is a very special Love Gift from the Father Himself.

Love is the reason for, the root, the foundation, and the source of all of the Promises and

Commandments. All of the dos and don’ts

Love covers all of the covenants and the entire Bible.

The Bible is a Book of Love. A Love Covenant.

This wonderful book the Bible covers all of Time & Eternity,

Psalm 37 is a chapter which details the way of the person who is walking in the Ways of the Lord having an established heart being Spiritually Minded vs the person who is carnally minded and not walking in the ways of the Lord.

Psalm 37: 1 – 40 FRET NOT yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness (that which is not upright or in right standing with God).

(2) For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

(3) Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.

(4) Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

(5) Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.

(6) And He will make your uprightness and right standing with God go forth as the light, and your justice and right as [the shining sun of] the noonday.

(7) Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

(8) Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself–it tends only to evildoing.

(9) For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait and hope and look for the Lord [in the end] shall inherit the earth.

(10) For yet a little while, and the evildoers will be no more; though you look with care where they used to be, they will not be found.

(11) But the meek [in the end] shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace…. (Amp. C)

Psalm 112: 1 – 10 Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments.  (Amp. Classic *fears – reveres and worships) (2) His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. (3) Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. (4) Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. (5) A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion.(6) Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. (7) He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. (8) His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies. (9) He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor. (10) The wicked will see it and be grieved; He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked shall perish. (NKJV)

Psalm 1: 1 – 5 BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather. (2) But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. (3) And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. (4) Not so the wicked [those disobedient and living without God are not so]. But they are like the chaff [worthless, dead, without substance] which the wind drives away. (5) Therefore the wicked [those disobedient and living without God] shall not stand [justified] in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous [those who are upright and in right standing with God]. (6) For the Lord knows and is fully acquainted with the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly [those living outside God’s will] shall perish (end in ruin and come to nought). (Amp. C)

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart or who is Spiritually minded is a person who will love his enemies.

Luke 6: 27 – 36 But I say to you who are listening now to Me: [in order to heed, make it a practice to] love your enemies, treat well (do good to, act nobly toward) those who detest you and pursue you with hatred, (28) Invoke blessings upon and pray for the happiness of those who curse you, implore God’s blessing (favor) upon those who abuse you [who revile, reproach, disparage, and high-handedly misuse you]. (29) To the one who strikes you on the jaw or cheek, offer the other jaw or cheek also; and from him who takes away your outer garment, do not withhold your undergarment as well. (30) Give away to everyone who begs of you [who is in want of necessities], and of him who takes away from you your goods, do not demand or require them back again. (31) And as you would like and desire that men would do to you, do exactly so to them. (32) If you [merely] love those who love you, what quality of credit and thanks is that to you? For even the [very] sinners love their lovers (those who love them). (33) And if you are kind and good and do favors to and benefit those who are kind and good and do favors to and benefit you, what quality of credit and thanks is that to you? For even the preeminently sinful do the same. (34) And if you lend money at interest to those from whom you hope to receive, what quality of credit and thanks is that to you? Even notorious sinners lend money at interest to sinners, so as to recover as much again. (35) But love your enemies and be kind and do good [doing favors so that someone derives benefit from them] and lend, expecting and hoping for nothing in return but considering nothing as lost and despairing of no one; and then your recompense (your reward) will be great (rich, strong, intense, and abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind and charitable and good to the ungrateful and the selfish and wicked. (36) So be merciful (sympathetic, tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these]. (Amp. C)

“THE REVELATION OF UNITY”

Posted by mcoxbmi on May 6, 2025
Posted in: Text Messages & Devotionals. Tagged: Body of Christ, Choice, Devotional, Holy Spirit, lifestyle, Love, Unity. Leave a comment

Galatians 1:11-12 “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (KJV) St. Paul was not one of the original apostles. The New Testament church was at least ten years old before we hear of him. He persecuted the church, and even tried to wipe it out completely. He must have been pretty successful before the Lord Himself intervened, see Acts 9. In Galatians 1:17-24 he tells the story of how he immediately went down to Arabia and didn’t check in with the Jerusalem church for three years. That must be the time he spent learning from God the revelations which he shares with us in his letters.

Every scripture is revealed by the Holy Spirit or it wouldn’t be in the Bible at all. And no matter what the world says, there are no other “secret” books of the Bible. It they are not in there, then we know absolutely that they are not inspired by the Holy Spirit.

No one knew the deep things of God the way he did. Thank God He had a man like Paul. It took a man so learned in the Hebrew law, history and culture to be able to teach the Jewish people how Jesus fulfilled the scriptures. He had to be a man they respected as being knowledgeable and fully accredited in the things he was sharing.

In the book of Acts, in every city he traveled to, the first place he went was to the synagogue. He says in the book of Romans how he longed for the conversion of his fellow Jews. The whole book of Ephesians focuses on mysteries, one being that gentiles and Jews are one. That was the major issue that caused him the most trouble.

Unity. One of the deepest of the deep things of God. Only in God Himself is it even remotely possible. I was at a prayer meeting once where different people got up and presented petitions like usual. They were praying for nations, governments, education, health and welfare, marriages; just lots of different really huge problems. After each one finished, the Lord spoke in my heart, “That’s a small thing.”

A small thing? A small thing! These are major issues all over the earth! After hearing Him repeat it several times, I asked Him, “Then, what do You consider a big thing?” He said, “My people being one.” Hmmm. Yes, I can see that being a big thing. If we were truly one, it sure would solve a lot of big problems. Wars, finances, health, education, governments.

He didn’t mean “one” like we understand it. After all, we are the “United” States! He means “one” in love. Talk about a deep thing of God. If we would be able to understand and work together in the agape love of God, could we even have a chance of solving all these huge problems? Even in a large church with thousands of people, is it even possible? Look at Acts 6. It seemed there was some discrimination in the distribution of food. The Apostles had to appoint people to straighten that out. The source of that was still some left over Jewish customs about separation.

Ephesians 3:14-21  “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,  him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” (KJV)

“Being Spiritually Minded”

Download This Message -> 230818 Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 8 – Being Spiritually Minded

There are only two mindsets. Everything that we do is either Carnally minded or Spiritually minded. One or the other. There is no middle ground.

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart is Spiritually minded, and God’s Word ruled. God and His Living Word is first place in this person’s life. They are not ruled by their senses, emotions, or feelings.

Romans 8: 1 – 2 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (NKJV)

Romans 8: 5 – 6 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. (6) For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (NKJV)

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart or being Spiritually Minded is a person who has put themselves in a place to know His Ways and what our ways are supposed to be.

1st John 4: 15 – 16 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. (16) And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (17) Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. (NKJV)

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart or being Spiritually Minded has put themselves in a place where they can be led by the Holy Spirit in every area of their lives.

Psalm 25: 1 – 2a UNTO YOU, O Lord, do I bring my life.  (2a) O my God, I trust, lean on, rely on, and am confident in You… (Amp. C)

Psalm 25: 4 – 5a  Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. (5a)Guide me in Your truth and faithfulness and teach me,… (Amp. C)

God Himself has an eye on our path of life and He Himself will teach us how to choose.

Psalm 32: 7 – 8 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah (8) I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. (NKJV)

Verse 7 = what David said to God.

Verse 8 = what God said in response to what David said.

“WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST”

Posted by mcoxbmi on April 16, 2025

Define deep. As it says in Colossians 2:1-3, “For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;  That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;  In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (KJV)

If anything is deep, it’s got to be all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge that are hidden in Christ Jesus. In Second Corinthians 12:3-4, St. Paul tells us of his trip to heaven where he learned things so deep that he couldn’t even put them into words: “And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” (KJV) He actually had that experience three times.

What did God tell him? Is it possible to find out? Even though he never specifically stated what he learned personally from the Lord, I believe we can get a clue from his letters. In many of them he speaks of what he is writing as a “mystery, hidden in God.” He uses the word “mystery” seventeen times: twice in Romans, twice in First Corinthians, six times in Ephesians, four times in Colossians, once in Second Thessalonians and twice in his first letter to Timothy. It is enough to tell us that he has revelation knowledge from God that we could never find out for ourselves.

The definition of the word “mystery” means “information known only to the initiated.” That means that yes, we can find out what each of these mysteries actually are, the “deep things of God.” We are the initiated. We are born again, baptized in water and the spirit, and belong to the Body of Christ. Mysteries are not things that we cannot know or learn. They are our personal information that the Lord, through St. Paul, is teaching us. In each of these seventeen instances, he explains completely what these mysteries are.

Of course, they can’t be known by the world. Like he says in First Corinthians 2:6-16: “Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:  none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.  For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (KJV) (All emphasis mine.)

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, . . . but we have the mind of Christ.” (KJV) Wow! Thank You, Holy Spirit of God, for teaching us the wisdom that only comes from You Yourself. Amen.

Download This Message -> 230811_Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 7 – Having an Established Heart

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart has their focus on God’s Word. God’s Living Word is abiding in their hearts.

John 15: 7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. (Amp. C)

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart is always prepared and ready unmoving no matter what happens.

Philippians 4: 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (NKJV)

Philippians 4: 13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency]. (Amp. C)

Psalm 23: 1 – 6 A Psalm of David. THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. (2) He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. (3) He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake. (4) Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me. (5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over. (6) Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place. (Amp. C)

“IN THE BEGINNING” – Charlene Cox

Colossians 1:16-17  “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”(KJV)

“By Him all things consist.” If we ever imagine that we don’t know where God is, this is the perfect scripture. He is completely aware of the smallest detail of all creation, and that includes us. Hebrews 4:12-13 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” (KJV)

These scriptures are from the King James version. Other translations say that the WORD is “living and active,” “alive and full of power,” ”alive and active,” “full of life and power.” However we say it, God’s WORD is definitely a living substance, and powerful in its activity. How could it be otherwise, when it is His WORD that brought everything into existence?

One night years ago, after I had put the children to bed and was ready to sleep myself, the power went off. The whole town was dark. I stood looking out the window in my bedroom and I was able to see the stars so bright and clear. The Presence of God was very real at that moment.

As I meditated about the situation, I thought of our own sun which has all the power our earth needs. Looking at the stars, I thought of all the power they had. And some of those pinpoints of light were actually galaxies containing billions of stars themselves. And our God created all of them!

The power came on soon after, but I always think of that starry night. It reminds me of how powerful our holy God is, that it all exists because of His original WORD, and remains just as unalterable and consistent in Him to this day and forever! Like Psalm 119:16 says, “I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. “(KJV)

Download This Message -> 230804_Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 6 – The Consistent Way of Life

A person that knows the Lord and is walking in His Ways has an established Heart. Paul had an established heart, a consistent way of life. His life was built upon the Rock Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 4: 23 Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life. (Amp. C)

Colossians 3: 1 – 3 IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. (2) And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. (3) For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God (Amp. C)

Galatians 5: 25 If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.] (Amp. C)

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart is fixed, steadfast, unwavering, trusting in the Lord always and in all circumstances no matter what those circumstances are.

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart does not weaver in times of trouble or distress.

He does not waver because he knows that he is not alone. God Himself is with him.

A person walking in the ways of the Lord having an established heart does not worry, fret, or fear. They do not focus on the problem but on the answer

“THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT IN LIFE THAT GOD’S WORD”

“THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT IN LIFE THAT GOD’S WORD”

THE WORD is God’s system for living in abundant life in every area. It is so important that in the Old Testament Book of Psalms, Psalm 119, the longest Psalm, is devoted to it. Let’s take a look at it. In most translations of the Bible, Psalm 119 is divided into twenty-two stanzas, and each has a letter of the Hebrew alphabet as the heading. It may be the letter itself, or the letter spelled out. For example, the first letter, aleph, which is equivalent to our English letter A, begins the Psalm. The Psalm is written as an acrostic, that is, the first word in each verse of the stanza begins with that letter in the Hebrew language. The next is beth, or B, and so on, all the way through to Taw.

In each stanza, each of the eight verses contains a specific term that means God’s WORD. They are: Word, commandment, command, law, instruction, precepts, judgment, testimonies, way or path, statutes, decrees, and promises. The terms vary according to the translation you may be using, but they all refer to the WORD.

Hebrew children were taught this psalm the same way our modern kids learn the alphabet through symbols and pictures. Their young minds had to be impressed with the fact that there is nothing more important in life than God’s WORD. Using so many different terms established for them that their lives were ruled and guided by it. THE WORD, or commandments gave them the ability to endure and withstand any scorn, threats or danger that they might face from strangers, peers, or even enemies. Only some outside obstruction, such as sin, pride, or anything we would see as originating in the carnal nature would prevent one from seeing the blessings and benefits of knowing and keeping the law, or WORD.

Thank You, Lord, that, according to Psalm 119:105 Your WORD is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.(KJV) I pray that You increase in me the wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You that can only come from Your WORD. And I thank You for it, in Jesus’ mighty Name, amen.

God has a deep desire for us to know Him and to know His Ways. He is not holding back.

He wants us to know Him.

God by the Holy Spirit is continuously revealing Himself to us as we study the Living Word, Pray, and walk the Love Walk.

We must position ourselves for God to be able to reveal Himself to us.

In order to know God and Walk in His Ways we must please the Lord.

In order to please the Lord, we must be people of Faith. Faith works by Love.

Hebrews 11: 6  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (NKJV)

The people listed in Hebrews Chapter 11 all pleased God. They were people of Faith.

Paul was a man of Faith. He had a deep desire to please God and to Know Him.

Philippians 3: 7 – 10 But whatever former things I had that might have been gains to me, I have come to consider as [one combined] loss for Christ’s sake. (8) Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One),(9) And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law’s demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith. (10) [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] (Amp. C)

That I May Know Him!!!

Download This Message -> 230714_Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 4 – Made in the Image of God – Charlene Cox

What does God look like?

God the Father gave His Son Jesus a human body. (Hebrews 10: 5)

God Himself sits on a throne with Jesus at His right hand. (Ephesians 1: 23)

God the Father is described as having a face (Exodus 33:11), eyes (Psalm 32: 8b;

Psalm 34: 15), ears (Psalm 116: 2), a mouth (Deuteronomy 8: 3), hands (Psalm 8:6), arms (Psalm 44:3), fingers (Psalm 8: 3), and back parts (Exodus 33: 23); and feet, if He has a footstool (Isaiah 66: 1).

God created everything by speaking His Word.

Genesis 1: 1 – 25 lists the order of creation.

God has the ability to create life and gave us that ability. He used the Word to activate them.

He had dominion over the works of his hands, which were created through his word. And he gave that dominion to mankind.

Then he turned all creation over to us for our use while we established that dominion.

Because of the Fall, satan stole our dominion. At the Resurrection, Jesus, the second Adam, recovered and restored the dominion to the Body of Christ; not to all men, but to the born again who are in Christ Jesus.

God made His covenant by speaking His Word. The power of our own words is identical to the power in the Words of God.

Man made in the image of God is a SPIRIT.

John 4: 24  God is SPIRIT , and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Luke 23: 46  And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘INTO YOUR HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.

Man has a SOUL.

Psalm 103: 1 A Psalm Of David. Bless the LORD, O my SOUL; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

Psalm 116: 7  Return to your rest, O my soul, For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.

He lives in the BODY.

Psalm 139: 15 – 16  My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.

Genesis 2: 25  And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

The SPIRIT is our connection with heaven and our BODY is our connection with the earth. Our SOUL is the animation of the two together. The word SOUL is “anima” in Latin. In Greek, “psuche” or “psyche.” In all translations the word SOUL means the life or life force.

1st Thessalonians 5: 23  Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole SPIRIT, SOUL, and BODY be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4: 12  For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Download This Message -> 230707-Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 3 – Gods Ways Revealed by the Holy Spirit Part 2

In order to know God and His Ways we must be born-again. If we are not born-again we have no connection to Him.

Ephesians 2: 12 – 13 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. (13) But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. (NKJV)

John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (NKJV)

John 3: 5 – 7 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (7) Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ (8) The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (NKJV)

In order to know God and His Ways we must be born-again, and we must draw near to Him.

James 4: 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. (NKJV)

As born-again believers the Holy Spirit Himself dwells in us. He reveals the Living Word of God to us as we study the Word, Pray, and walk the Love Walk. The Living Word of God reveals Who God Is and God’s Ways.

We cannot know God or His Ways with the human intellect. We can know about God, but we cannot know Him with our intellect.

We can only know God by the Spirit. Knowing God is heart or spirit knowledge, not head knowledge.

God IS Spirit.

John 4: 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”(NKJV) (1st John 4: 7 & 16 God Is Love 1st John 4: 17… As He Is So Are We In This World.)

We are Spirit Beings.

1st Thessalonians 5: 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (NKJV)

Download This Message -> 230630_Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 2 – Gods Ways Revealed by the Holy Spirit

Every Born-Again Christian should have a deep heart felt desire to know Him and to walk in the Ways of The Lord all the days of their lives.

Isaiah 55: 6 – 9 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. (7) Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. (8) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. (9) “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. (NKJV)

He did not say that we could not know His Thoughts and Ways, He just said that His Thoughts and Ways are not our ways.

Can we know God and His ways? Yes! If you are Born-Again

God wants us to know His Ways. He is not holding back. We must position ourselves for God to be able to reveal them to us by His Holy Spirit and the Word.

1st Corinthians 2: 9 – 16  But as it is written: “EYE HAS NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NOR HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” (10) But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. (11) For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. (12) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. (13) These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (14) But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (15) But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. (16) For “WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD THAT HE MAY INSTRUCT HIM?” But we have the mind of Christ. (NKJV)

2nd Corinthians 4: 6  For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (NKJV)

Colossians 1: 26 – 27  the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. (27) To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (NKJV)

God by the Holy Spirit is continuously revealing Himself to us as we study the Living Word, Pray, and walk the Love Walk.

Colossians 3: 10  And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it. (Amp. C)

“Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 1 – “God Opened the Way So That Man Could Know Him”

Download This Message ->230623_Walking in the Ways of the Lord Part 1 – God Opened the Way So That Man Could Know Him

To know Him: To go beyond just knowing about God. To go beyond just friendship. But to have a deep intimate, personal relationship with God. To know His Ways or Character. As Jesus prayed in John 17 that we may be One.

John 17: 21  That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. (Amp. C)

In order to be able to walk in the Ways of The Lord we must know the Lord. We can know about God and The Ways of The Lord and not walk in His Ways.

God Himself has a deep desire for us to know Him and to reveal His Ways to us. He reveals His Ways through His Word.

In order for us to truly know God and walk in His Ways we must first be Born-Again.

God Himself took the first step for Mankind to be able to know Him in His Fulness.

I cannot really know someone unless they want to know me too.

John 3: 16 – 17 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. (17) For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. (Amp. C)

1st John 2: 2 – 6 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (3) Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. (4) He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (5) But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. (6) He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (NKJV)

“Hindrances to Our Prayer Life – No Seed of the Word Sown, No Harvest.”

Download This Message -> 230616-The Bible Part 19-Hindrances to Our Prayer Life-No Seed of the Word Sown No Harvest

Another major hindrance is that the words of our mouth, when we pray and after we pray, do not line up with the Word of God.

Matthew 12: 35 – 37 The good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things. (36) But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak. (37) For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. (Amp. C)

Are we sowing good seeds or bad seeds? Are we sowing to the problem or to the answer to the problem? Are we focusing more on the problems and issues than we are on God’s Word.

Read verse 37 again – Matthew 12: 37 For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. (Amp. C)

Proverbs 18: 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. (NKJV)

Our answer is contained in the seed of the Word that we sow. No seed sown, no harvest.

The Living Word is like a Seed. Just as a seed contains life in itself, so does the Living Word.

The Living Word contains the Life that it needs to bring itself to pass. But that life must be activated. We are the ones who activate that life by applying our Faith to the Word as we speak.

God has already given us the Seed of the Word to sow. We take the Seed of the Word and sow it by speaking the Word to our mountains.

Colossians 3: 12 – 15 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; (13) bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. (14) But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. (15) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. (NKJV)

***(Amplified Classic) – Colossians 3: 14 And above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony].

We draw our strength from the Holy Spirit and the Living Word of God.

Ephesians 6: 10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. (Amp. C)

John 14: 26  But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. (27) Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] (Amp. C)

“Hindrances to Our Prayer Life – Unforgiveness”

When we have strife, offenses, anger, hatred, and bitterness in our life we will also have unforgiveness present. If we are dealing with strife, offenses, anger, hatred, bitterness, and unforgiveness, run to our Loving Heavenly Father.

Our failure to consistently walk the Love Walk is a major hindrance to our prayer lives especially if we have unforgiveness present in our lives. When we do not forgive it directly affects our Love Walk and will stop our prayers

Mark 11: 25 – 26 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop. (26) But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings. (Amp. C)

Forgiving is a choice we must make. It has nothing to do with our feelings. We forgive by Faith in God and His Living Word because He has commanded us to forgive. We must forgive anyone who has wronged us. Past or present. Even if the person is dead.

God Himself has commanded us to forgive. It is not a suggestion. When God gives a commandment, He also along with the commandment will give us the knowledge on how to carry out the commandment, the ability to carry out the commandment, the authority, and the power to carry out the commandment.

God Himself will back our decision to forgive, and He will strengthen us by His Word and the precious Holy Spirit to be able to forgive and to maintain that forgiveness.

Colossians 3: 12 – 15 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; (13) bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also

must do. (14) But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. (15) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. (NKJV)
