Download This Message -> 230616-The Bible Part 19-Hindrances to Our Prayer Life-No Seed of the Word Sown No Harvest
Another major hindrance is that the words of our mouth, when we pray and after we pray, do not line up with the Word of God.
Matthew 12: 35 – 37 The good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things. (36) But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak. (37) For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. (Amp. C)
Are we sowing good seeds or bad seeds? Are we sowing to the problem or to the answer to the problem? Are we focusing more on the problems and issues than we are on God’s Word.
Read verse 37 again – Matthew 12: 37 For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. (Amp. C)
Proverbs 18: 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. (NKJV)
Our answer is contained in the seed of the Word that we sow. No seed sown, no harvest.
The Living Word is like a Seed. Just as a seed contains life in itself, so does the Living Word.
The Living Word contains the Life that it needs to bring itself to pass. But that life must be activated. We are the ones who activate that life by applying our Faith to the Word as we speak.
God has already given us the Seed of the Word to sow. We take the Seed of the Word and sow it by speaking the Word to our mountains.
