Whatever is abiding will bring forth fruit for good or evil

Luke 6: 43 – 45 For a good tree does not bring forth corrupt fruit, neither does a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  (44) For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. (45) A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth the good. John 15: 7 (Amplified Classic) If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

We are to abide in Him and His Word is to abide in us. Both are by our choice.

Our Love Walk and the Abiding Word are determining factors for fruit bearing

A major hindrance and possibly the #1 hindrance is our lack of walking the love walk because Faith works by Love.

Galatians 5: 6 (Amplified Bible) For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.

(KJV) faith which worketh by love.

If we are not walking in love our faith will not work.

Without our faith the Word cannot be activated.

Without our faith the Word will be dormant and unable to bring forth life or fruit.

“The Abiding Seed of the Word”. If the Living Seed of The Living Word does not abide it cannot bring forth Life.

Once the Believer has the seed of the Living Word planted in His Heart and activated by the Faith of that Believer that seed will bring forth life unless it is prevented from abiding.

Our enemy satan does everything that he can to prevent the Living Word of God from abiding in the heart of the Believer.  The only chance that he has is to deceive the Believer into making a choice to not allow the Living Word to abide in His heart.

If satan is unable to deceive the Believer, the Living Abiding Word in the heart of the Believer will come to manifestation.  Satan cannot stop the Living Word from coming to pass any other way. 

John 15: 7 (Amplified Classic) If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

Abide – The Greek word used here is “meno”  It means to stay in a given place, state, or expectancy – To abide, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry for.

IF – If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you. We are to abide in Him and His Word is to abide in us. Both are by our choice.

Not only is God Himself the source of The Living Word but The Living Word IS God Himself. God and His Word are One.

God IS Love!  The Being Love.  Absolute Love.

1st John 4: 8  He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (NKJV)

1st John 4: 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (NKJV)

Because God IS Love, The Being, and God and His Word are One then God’s Word IS Love.

Because God Is absolute Life and God and His Word are One then God’s Word Is Alive, absolute Life.

Because God and His Living Word are One and God cannot lie God’s Living Word Is Absolute Truth.

God’s Living Word Is Absolute Truth. His Word is His bond.

If we are to live a consistent Christian Life, we must put on the new nature or new man.

In order to put on the new, we must take off the old. 

Ephesians 4: 22 – 24  Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; (23) And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], (24) And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.  (Amplified Classic)

In order to put on the new nature or the new man we must renew our minds by the Living Word.

God Himself Is Life.  Since God and His Word are One then God’s Word Is Life.  Absolute Life.

The Living Word is like a Seed.  Just as a seed contains life in itself, so does the Living Word. The Living Word contains the Life that it needs to bring itself to pass.  But that life must be activated.  We are the ones who activate that life by applying our Faith to the Word.

This Living Word of God is constantly at work in us who believe It.

God Himself has invited each of us into the secret place of His rest.  We are the ones who must choose to enter the place of His rest.

Part of God’s own Rest is His Communion with Man. This is one of God’s Greatest Desires.

It was and still is God’s intention that all His people would dwell in the secret place of His rest. But we must choose to enter that place of rest.

Hebrews 4: 10 – 11 For he who has once entered [God’s] rest also has ceased from [the weariness and pain] of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own. (11) Let us therefore be zealous and exert ourselves and strive diligently to enter that rest [of God, to know and experience it for ourselves], that no one may fall or perish by the same kind of unbelief and disobedience [into which those in the wilderness fell]. Psalm 91: 1 – 2   HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. (2) I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! (Amplified Classic)

In order to enter His Rest we must first come to Him, We must bring our lives just as they are!  We must be born again. He will then qualify us to enter His Rest.

John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”(NKJV)

John 3: 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (NKJV)

If we have not received Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord, we cannot enter the Secret Place of God’s Rest.

Anyone who is Born Again can enter into The Secret Place of God’s Rest but We must walk the Love Walk and be Spiritually Minded

Romans 8: 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (NKJV)

The Word says that we are to dwell, live, and abide continuously in The Secret Place of God’s Rest.In Order to dwell, live, and abide in The Secret Place of God’s Rest, The Word must live and abide in our hearts.  The Word must be first place and final authority in every area of our lives.

It is the abiding Word that you know in your heart that sets you free.

When we study the Word, meditate on the Word, confess the Word, and apply our faith to the Word, it comes alive in our hearts or spirit man.

As we meditate on the Living Word the Holy Spirit will enlighten our understanding.  As He enlightens our understanding we grow in the knowledge of Who God really Is and His Ways.  We also grow in the knowledge of who we are in Christ Jesus and what our ways are supposed to be.  We become the light in a dark and hurting world revealing Jesus.

Psalm 119: 130 The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple. (Amplified Classic)

Hope or Hopelessness? Our focus in life determines which we will walk in. 

Hopelessness can slip up on us if we are focusing on the wrong thing.

If we are continuously focusing on the problem, we will be building the problem and be on our way to hopelessness.

What we focus on the most becomes who we are.

No matter what the problems in life are, they are temporary.  Your eternity is not temporary.  It is eternal without end.  You decide where your focus should be.

We need to change our focus in life to see our lives and the lives of others through the eyes of Love and God’s Living Word.

The Lord’s focus is upon us.

Place your focus in life on God and His Word and watch the circumstances in your life change.

No matter what the problem is the Lord already knows the answer.  He will guide us if we set our love and hope on Him.

God Himself has set His Faith and Hope (Absolute Ernest Expectation) on His Word and called all mankind especially us the Church, His Children, to that Hope.

Ephesians 1: 18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), (Amplified Classic)

We are not in this alone.  Our hope (Ernest Expectation) is connected to God’s Own Hope (Absolute Ernest Expectation).

When I apply my Faith and Hope to the Living Word His Faith and Hope are already applied to the Living Word.

Our Loving Heavenly Father wants us to know Him and the Hope (Ernest Expectation) that He Himself has set before us.

There is a deep heart cry from God to all mankind saved and unsaved to come and experience real Living Hope.

The precious loving Holy Spirit is constantly calling us to come.  We have an open invitation to come.

If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior I boldly declare to you today that there is hope.  You are not alone.  You are not hopeless. There is a real Living Hope available to you. You are never alone. This an absolute Truth

1st Peter 1: 3 – 4   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (4) to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, (NKJV)

1st Peter 1: 13  Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; (NKJV)

Hopeless:  a. Destitute of hope; having no expectation of that which is desirable; despairing. desperate; a hopeless condition, no way out and no answer. 

Common Definition of Hope in today’s modern usage is = Wishful Thinking.  Maybe it will happen and maybe it will not. We do not know for sure but we sure would like for it to take place.

Bible definition for Hope = Absolute Earnest expectation.

Real Bible Hope is absolute earnest expectation.  It is anchored in the absolute truth of God’s Living Word.  It cannot fail.  It cannot lie.

No matter what the problem or issue is God has already provided everything we need and the way out.

Philippians 4:19  And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (NKJV)

2nd Peter 1: 3 – 4  For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue). (4) By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature. (Amplified Classic)

In today’s world we all are living in perilous times.  No matter where we live or what our station in life may be there are difficult times present.

Many are crying out inside themselves for help.  It may not be obvious to the people around them but inside there is a struggle going on and a cry for help. They feel alone and unloved.

Many feel that they are at the end of their road.  They feel that there is no help or hope for them. They have been struggling with the same issues and problems for weeks months and years. They believe that they are facing a hopeless situation and that there is no hope for them.

It is sad to say that many truly born-again Christians feel the same way.  They believe that they are in a hopeless situation.  That there is no way out and no hope for them.  They believe that they are alone with no hope.  

I boldly declare to you today that there is hope.  You are not alone.  You are not hopeless.

You    are    not    alone!  There is a real Living Hope available to you. 

We do not deny that the problems and trials exist but no matter how serious the problem is there is an answer.  

John 16: 33  I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] (Amplified Classic)

At one time before we were born-again, we were without hope.  But once we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are no longer without hope. 

Ephesians 2: 12 – 13  That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: (13) But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. (KJV) 

If we know Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, we are not without hope and without God in this world.  We are never alone!

Hebrews 13: 5b  …for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] (Amplified Classic)

God has a deep desire to reveal His Ways to us.  He reveals His Ways through His Word. As born-again believers the Holy Spirit Himself dwells in us.  He reveals the Living Word of God to us.  The Living Word of God reveals God’s Ways.

John 14: 26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. (Amplified Classic)

John 16: 13 – 15  But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future]. (14) He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. (15) Everything that the Father has is Mine. The ways of the Lord are:

Love – Mercy – Grace – Loving kindness – Goodness – Faithfulness – Integrity – Long suffering – Full of Joy – Eternal without ceasing – Holy – Truth – Steadfast – Bring life – Righteous – Always right 

As a born-again child of God His Ways are supposed to be our ways.

It is God’s Will to reveal His Ways to us through Jesus (The Living Word) by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is a copy of the Living Word of God.  It reveals the very nature and character of God Himself, Who He Is and His Ways.

The Bible reveals who we are and what our ways should be. The Bible also reveals who satan is and his ways.

It is absolutely vital that we know the Ways of the Lord.  All of God’s Ways are revealed in Jesus Christ.  As we study God’s Living Word, and walk in Love, God’s Ways are revealed to us by the Holy Spirit.

It is God’s Will to reveal His Ways to us through Jesus (The Living Word) by the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 2: 2 – 3  [For my concern is] that their hearts may be braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged) as they are knit together in love, that they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that they may become progressively more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One). (3) In Him all the treasures of [divine] wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God) and [all the riches of spiritual] knowledge and enlightenment are stored up and lie hidden. (Amplified Classic)

It is God’s Will to reveal His Ways to us through Jesus (The Living Word) by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is a copy of the Living Word of God.  It reveals the very nature and character of God Himself, Who He Is and His Ways.

God’s Ways are hidden in Christ Jesus but revealed to God’s children by the Holy Spirit as we set our love upon God and walk the love walk. It is the will of God and His deep desire to reveal Himself to His People.

We must learn how to love God so that we can love others and be more effective in the kingdom of God.

If God’s agape love is not working in our life, then the Kingdom of God will be limited in its ability to produce or manifest in our life.

Two of the greatest forces in life that effect everyone one of us are Love and selfishness.  These two forces are involved in everything we do.  They are involved in every decision that we make.

Everything we do and every decision that we make are related to one or the other of these two forces, Love or selfishness.  One or the other is always present, but they cannot work together.

Mankind is born with a selfish nature. Selfishness is the reciprocal of love.

Agape love is not a human form of love.  It is unconditional, limitless, selfless, and is not based on emotions.  It tolerates anything. It is always others centered.

Hebrews 2: 14 – 15 (Amplified Classic) Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death–that is, the devil– (15) And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives.

Hebrews 4: 15 – 16 (NKJV) For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. (16) Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus was also tempted with selfishness.  Jesus used the Word to defeat selfishness. He anchored His choice in the Word.  We should do the same.
