In the past 4 messages we have already discussed 15 of the 26 gifts from the Father’s Heart that we have listed in this series. We will continue with our discussion on these gifts in today’s message.
The greatest Giver of all Time and Eternity Is God Himself. He never stops giving.
The greatest gift ever given was Jesus. The ultimate gift of Love.
The one and only reason that Jesus came into this world was because Man was separated from God.
Matthew 6: 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (NKJV)
We, Mankind, are God’s Treasure.
He gave us the gift of Life itself – all creation.
He gave us the gift of choice.
He gave us the gift of Eternal Life
He gave us the gift of Reconciliation:
He gave us the Living Word of God
He gave us the gift of the Bread of Life
He gave us the gift of Sonship:
He gave us the gift of God’s Grace
He gave us the gift of Righteousness.
He gave us the gift of real freedom.
He gave us the gift of all things that pertain to life and Godliness.
He gave us the gift of the Keys of the Kingdom
He gave us the gift of Living Water
He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit to abide in us.
He gave us the gift of the Fruit of the Spirit by the presence of the Holy Spirit within us.
Galatians 5: 22 – 23 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, (23) Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. (Amplified Classic)
He gave us the free gifts of the Holy Spirit.
1st Corinthians 12: 4 – 11 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. (5) There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. (6) And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. (7) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: (8) for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, (9) to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, (10) to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. (11) But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. (NKJV)
He gave us the free gifts of the Five-Fold Ministry
Ephesians 4: 11 – 13 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, (12) for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, (13) till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; (NKJV)
He gave us the Right to use The Name of Jesus
John 14: 13 – 14 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (14) If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (NKJV)
Mark 16: 15 – 18 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. (16) He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (17) And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; (18) they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (NKJV)
