Worry is meditating on the wrong thing!
Our knowledge of the Word, how it works, how and when to use it, is of extreme importance and value to us if we are to be victorious over-comers and successful in our Christian walk.
God’s Word is involved in every area of our lives. Our lack of knowledge, faith, and action determines our level of success or failure.
Meditation in the Word builds knowledge of the Word.
Meditation in the Word causes the Living Word to abide in our hearts.
Meditation in the Word builds the inner image of the Word in our hearts.
Meditation in the Word builds a capacity for faith which is the activator of the Living Word.
Joshua 1: 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success. (Amp. C)
Psalms 1: 1 – 3 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; (2) But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. (3) He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. (NKJV)
Psalms 119: 130 The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. (NKJV)
Mark 4: 24 – 25 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you–and more [besides] will be given to you who hear. (25) For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has nothing, even what he has will be taken away [by force], (Amp. C)
